What we collect

  • Account info — your name, email address, and password (stored as a hash).
  • Profile info — anything you optionally fill in: bio, hometown, interests, profile photo.
  • Content — posts, comments, messages, and photos you create on Pager.
  • Usage data — server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). Retained for 30 days.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
  • We do not run ads or share data with advertisers.
  • We do not use your content to train machine learning models.
  • We do not track you across the web.

Who can see your content

Your profile and posts are visible only to people who share at least one network with you. Messages are visible only to the participants in that conversation.

Data storage

Your data is stored on servers in the United States. Photos and profile pictures are stored as base64 in our database — we don't use third-party CDNs.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent — we don't keep copies.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies.
